For those wanting to cruise the back country roads, the Kybeyan Road from Nimmitabel to Numeralla; the Boboyan Road from Adaminaby to Canberra through the Namadgi National Park; and the Maffra Road from Dalgety across the Monaro to Bombala. Just remember that often local graziers have cattle and sheep feeding along the roadside.

Stone Bridge

We leave the every day world behind as we close the gates and climb over the bush cloaked palteau, a magic vista unfolds - our hidden valley above the Snowy River Gorge with views to Victoria. Welcome to our private corner of the world.
In the morning we explore the awesome Matong Gorge - where the Matong Creek has carved a spectacular gorge around the foot of Wobbyong Mountain.
After a vist to the homestead to shear a sheep and a break for lunch, we travel to the legendary Stone Bridge on the Snowy River - where the Snowy disappears into a labyrinth of massive carved granit boulders emerging hundreds of meters downstream.
Itineraries may be varied by arrangement to suit the interests of the particular group.
