Snowy Wilderness Accommodation

In the tradition of The Man From Snowy River, Snowy Wilderness is a pristine high country retreat and a sanctuary for Australia's wild Brumby. Snowy Wilderness adjoins the Kosciuszko National Park and is 7,200 rugged acres of pure enjoyment.

There are four types of accommodation at Snowy Wilderness.

There are one and two bedroom lodges, each with ensuite bathrooms, dining rooms, lounge rooms and kitchens, with outdoor decks for that end of day drink, so you can relax watching the sun go down.

There is a one bedroom (queen) secluded cottage fully self-contained with en-suite, lounge, dining, kitchen and outside barbecue area. There is also the homestead bed and breakfast option.

And there are the six strategically placed campsites throughout the property, suitable for sleeping up to eight people per site under the unique Aussie shelters. Each campsite has benches, stools, fire pit, toilets and bush showers, fresh rain water and beds with Aussie swags provided.

Staying at Snowy Wilderness is a getaway you will remember forever.

Wilderness Campsites

For those adventurers who are looking to get back to nature, try our true bushmen's camp sites of the High Country. Swags are provided along with all your tent and cooking materials. You bring your own sleeping bag (or one can be supplied at extra cost) and experience what it's like to sleep under the stars after watching the sun go down over the Ranges, drinking billy tea around the campfire. To make the most out of the Snowy Wilderness experience, get outdoors!

The Cottage

There is a 1 bedroom (queen size) Snowy Mountains cottage with en suite bathroom, dining, lounge, kitchen, with outdoor setting with barbecue for that end of day drink and relax watching the sun go down.

The Homestead

Stay in the beautiful and authentic homestead on the property. Built by hand from stone, glass, and mud bricks from the property, the homestead comprises 3 queen size bedrooms, 2 large bathrooms with terrific views, dining, luxurious lounge with large open fireplace, open space kitchen and huge bar. The homestead can accommodate up to 3 couples with children. Completely self-contained, you are the master/mistress of 7,200 acres for as long as you stay. A truly unique holiday you will cherish forever.

Snowy Wilderness Lodges

We are constructing 11 x 2 bedroom lodges and 6 x 1 bedroom lodges. There will be a disabled 2 bedroom lodge and some will have spa's. All lodges will be private with spectacular north/north east outlooks. Each lodge will have kitchen, dining, lounge, atrium, and an upstairs loft/cocktail room. The lodges are to be constructed on local stone, plenty of double glazed floor to ceiling windows, and each has it's own wood fire. Each lodge is architecturally designed and will be a very special experience.

You can stay in Jindabyne, but still enjoy the tours/activities of Snowy Wilderness.
