From the West
From the Hume Highway, take the Snowy Mountains Highway turn-off. Travel through Tumut and Talbingo over the mountains to Adaminaby and Cooma. The journey from Tumut to Cooma takes approximately 2.5 hours. (During winter, be sure to check road conditions prior to travel.)
Other routres include the Elliot Way from Tumbarumba to Cabramurra, and the spectacular Cabramurra-Khancoban road (not open during winter).
