The Pioneer Women’s Hut Museum is small national museum representing rural women and their families.
It is run by community volunteers. The collection reflects everyday domestic life and is cleverly themed. It highlights the ingenuity of women in finding solutions to the challenges of looking after a family in early ruralAustralia. The Museum looks for objects with a clear provenance: the stories behind the diverse collection make this one of the most innovative small museums inAustralia.
Open Wednesdays 11am – 4pm. Weekends and public holidays 10am – 4pm and every day for pre booked groups.
