Take the highest Segway tour in Australia!

Lake Crackenback Resort is offering guests a unique ‘off piste’ experience with its brand new All-terrain Segway Eco tours – the highest Segway tours in Australia at around 1200m above sea level!

The Resort’s Segway X2 All-terrain Personal Transportation Vehicles come with deeply treaded tyres allowing guests to traverse a network of trails surrounding the Resort – and it’s all completely eco-friendly. The eco-certified machines have zero emissions and are whisper quiet so there is no disturbance of the plentiful animal life that frequent the Resort’s 150 acre grounds.

The Segway All-terrain Eco Tours are suitable for children and adults of all ages (minimum weight 35kg) and will take guests through stunning mountain territory along safe but challenging routes.

The one hour tour costs $50 ($65 for day visitors) and for kids who are not over that magic 35 kg the Segway Experience at the Resort’s Skills Park is available for $7 per child (5 minute experience). Just bring Mum or Dad along as a Segway Assistant to ride!

All participants are required to complete a Safety briefing and will be continually supervised by the qualified Segway Eco Tour Guide to ensure a safe and enjoyable ride.

The new Segways tours are just one of the many activities offered at the Resort’s ‘Activate’ Recreational Centre which offers guests ways to immerse themselves in the beautiful surrounds of Lake Crackenback Resort and Kosciuszko National Park including an exhilarating mountain bike tour or fly fishing all complete with a local expert instructor. Guests can also utilise the many Resort-based activities and facilities such as the 9 hole par 3 golf course, trampolines, archery, tennis, badminton, volleyball, low ropes course, gym and heated indoor swimming pool.
