The Yarrangobilly Caves are located in the northern part of the Kosciuszko National Park, just off the Snowy Mountains Highway between Tumut and Cooma.
While the caves are some of the most beautiful in Australia, the landscape above ground is truly awe inspiring and well worth taking the time for a wander, you never know what you will come across.
Yarrangobilly Cave Fees
All vehicles without a valid National Park Permit must pay a site fee of $3.00.
Jillabenan Cave or Jersey Cave
Guided tours run at regular intervals from visitor centre
South Glory Cave
Self guided tours between 9am and 4pm.
Adults $15, Concession $10 and Families $38.
Caves House Heritage Accommodation
Experience the comfortable isolation of the picturesque Yarrangobilly valley in your own self-contained wing of historic Caves House. Caves House was built in 1901 when Yarrangobilly Caves was the most popular resort in southern NSW. Each wing has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, lounge room, verandah and outdoor barbeque area.
There is a 2 night minimum booking. Bring bedding, clothing for all conditions, swimmers for the thermal pool and enough food for your stay. Rates are from $180 per night.
